Microsoft has released a new Office (Preview) Build 14405.20002 for Microsoft Office Version 2109. This build is rolling out to the Office Insiders who have registered in the Windows Beta Channel. The latest build adds a very important feature for those who collaborate on Word.

 

The new collaboration feature on Microsoft Word will allow you to track only your changes by going to the Review tab and opening the dropdown menu on the Track Changes button.

If you are still using Internet Explorer 11 (IE11), the Redmond giant has recently reminded its customers all over the world that the company is going to stop supporting Internet Explorer 11 from Microsoft 365 suite. That means all Microsoft 365 apps and services will cease support for Internet Explorer.

 

The date is not so far! Microsoft said that the farewell of IE11 will begin on August 17, 2021. Are you still using IE11? Switch to the new Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser now.

As always, Microsoft released a new Office Build to the insiders running Microsoft Office Version 2108. The latest build 14315.20008 comes to the Office Insiders who are in the Windows Beta Channel. Though the new build comes with no new features, it fixes a few bugs for Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

 

Here's the full changelog of this build. To update to the latest Microsoft Office Insider Preview Build, open any office app and navigate to File > Account > Update Options, and click the Update Now button.

Last week, Microsoft started rolling out the first preview build of Microsoft Office version 2108 to the Office Insiders who are in the Windows Beta Channel. That build (14301.20004) added a new feature to the Outlook client allowing you to turn off suggested replies if you are not happy with it.

 

This week the company released a new build (14312.20008) for Microsoft Office version 2108 that adds another new feature to the Outlook client and a set of few fixes for Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

If you are running Microsoft Office Version 2011 - Build 13416.10000 or higher, that introduced a feature that automatically offers you short suggested responses while replying to an email in Microsoft Outlook client. This makes it easier while replying to an email that needs just a few words.

 

Though it was a useful feature, not all users want to see these suggested replies. So, with the latest Microsoft Office Version 2108 Build 14301.20004, the company added an option to turn the feature off.

In March, we have reported about Microsoft adding Flipgrid video support to Microsoft PowerPoint slides, and during that time it was rolled out to the Office Insiders who are in the Windows Beta Channel (Fast Ring). Now, the company is rolling out this feature to the Windows Current (Preview) Channel.

Microsoft Teams is getting another new feature in the coming days. According to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap (Feature ID: 81945), Every Microsoft Teams team is connected to a SharePoint team site. That means, once Microsoft rolls out this feature, Microsoft Teams will automatically create a new SharePoint Teams Site for you.

 

According to Microsoft, this feature will start rolling out for the Targeted release (select users and entire organization) beginning in late June and will be completed by early July. The standard release will begin in mid-July and will be completed by early August.

Microsoft Teams is getting another new feature in June 2021, which will be known as "Chat Bubbles". According to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap (Feature ID: 65948), chats sent during a Teams meeting will surface on the screens of all meeting participants, making the chat more central to the conversation.

 

Microsoft said that the feature will be on by default, but if you find it distracting, can turn it off from the meetings menu by following the simple mentioned steps as below.
