After accidentally releasing the internal-only build 18947 to Windows Insiders, Microsoft released a fresh Windows 10 20H1 build 18945 that includes a new Cortana beta app with a new fresh look where you can type or speak to it.

Microsoft started rolling out a new feature update today for the Your Phone Companion app. If you have a phone with dual SIM, it will now allow you to send and receive messages from both SIM cards directly from your PC.

 

Currently the feature is available to Windows Insiders running Android mobile version 7 or higher. For non-insiders, you will have to wait for some time.

Microsoft accidentally released an internal-only Windows 10 build on 24th July, that reveals a new Start Menu design and a GIF search tool within the emoji picker. The build was not tested, and was released accidentally to a small portion of insiders in Fast, Slow and Release Preview rings.

 

If you are one of the (un)lucky insiders and downloaded/installed this build, Microsoft explained how to rollback it to the previous build.

Microsoft accidentally released an internal-only Windows 10 build (18947) to the Windows Insiders in all rings. The new build appears to have a completely new Start Menu design, by getting rid of the Live Tiles which was introduced with Windows 8.

Windows 10 May 2019 Update (version:1903), which is now available, has a minimum storage requirement of 32 GB for both 32-bit and 64-bit to accommodate some space for updates, apps and temporary files for a smooth running system..

 

Now Microsoft has clarified some doubts on the new storage requirement and said that this rule is applicable for new devices only.

Microsoft rolled out a new update to its Your Phone Companion app for Android, that's now allows you to sync over mobile data. Prior to that, you need to have your phone connected to WiFi for your content to show up on your PC.

 

Though this capability is disabled by default to save your data charges, but when you need it, you can navigate to app settings to make it enabled.

Microsoft releases the next preview build of Visual Studio 2019. The latest version of Visual Studio 2019 (version 16.1 Preview 3) comes with IntelliCode. Addition to other improvements, it also includes an early preview of the XAML Designer for developers building .NET Core 3.0 WPF applications.

If you could remember, how badly the Windows 10 October 2018 Update hit few consumers after upgrading to the latest update of Windows 10 just immediate after the release. Though the impact was not big, but it gave Microsoft time to think about improving the overall update experience.
