Microsoft announced the rollout of the new Tasks app for Microsoft Teams, which provides a new unified view of both personal and team tasks within the app by consolidating tasks across Microsoft To-Do, Teams, Planner, and Outlook.

Git 2.28 has been released with new features, enhancements and bug fixes. The new feature includes the option to set the default branch name to the global configuration file for the repositories that are being created by the user.

Microsoft releases a new Windows 10 Preview build (version 20H2) to the insiders in the Beta channel (formerly known as Slow Ring). Surprisingly, the new build 19042.421 gets some new features, which were already released to Dev Channel earlier this month.

Microsoft publishes the enterprise roadmap and release schedule of its Microsoft Edge browser for 2020-21. This will offer more insight into the features that Microsoft is currently working and going to make available in the next releases. This will help enterprises to plan deployments and prepare for upcoming changes.

Yesterday, Microsoft released the Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build 20175 to the Dev Channel with few new features for the insiders to try. Along with this, the company also released a new ISO/DVD image for the same preview build as builds older than 20170 is about to expire on July 31.

 

If you are using an older build, either you can upgrade to the latest Dev build 20170 via Windows Update or perform a clean installation using the latest ISO.
