Recap of #CSCJBPChapter monthly meet (July 2013)

It was the rainy morning when we started for the event. Few places already flooded due to heavy rain in the last night. Still we got a no. of attendees who came across to attend the 2nd C# Corner Jabalpur chapter event. Thanks to all of you who joined us.

In this post, I am sharing a recap of the event and the slides of the presenters for you who didn’t get chance to attend it.

The agenda of the event was full of learning stuffs for all the attendees. The very first session was from Supreet Tare. He started his session describing Entity Framework (Magic Unicorn), why to use it, differences between Entity Framework 5 and Entity Framework 6. Also he describes the complete workflow using the Framework in applications. Every attendees really enjoyed his session.

After a small tea break, I started with my session on Windows 8 application development. In the last event, I already covered most of the theory part and hence, this time the main focus was on code demonstration. So, started with the basic of Windows 8 application development, built a small demo app and demonstrated up to publishing it to the Windows 8 Store. Queries came from most of the attendees.

Finally the event ended with a big applause by the participants and that says the success of the event. At the end of the event, we declared the next date (10th August 2013), which will be for Windows Phone developers.
