During the Ignite 2022 annual conference, Microsoft announced that the company is launching a new application that will make your daily office work easier. With the introduction of the new Microsoft 365 app, the company is willing to replace the current MS Office applications.

 

Now, the company has revealed a first look at the Microsoft 365 app on its official YouTube Channel provides more insights into what the user can expect from this app.

 

First look of the new Microsoft 365 app

 

It is a very short video, with a duration of 55 seconds only. And hence, not everything is covered in it. But still, whatever we can extract from the video, it highlights a bunch of new features that include:

  • Quick access to all your files from a single screen.
  • Improved search experience that will list files shared by specific people.
  • With the help of pre-designed templates, you can create new content.
  • Within this app, you can find all your office-specific applications.
  • If you are having a meeting, the feed on the app will display it.
  • The feed will also list the updates from the people that you follow.
  • Powered by the Microsoft Graph, the Microsoft 365 app will provide you a better-personalized recommendation.

In case you missed it during the Ignite 2022 event, Microsoft is rebranding the Microsoft Office apps under Microsoft 365 brand. The new app is expected to release along with the coming builds of the existing MS Office apps.
