Visual Studio 11 provides an integrated development experience that spans the entire lifecycle of software creation from architecture to code creation, testing and beyond. This release adds support for Windows 8 and HTML 5, enabling you to target platforms across devices, services and the cloud.  Find the link to download the standalone/offline installer (ISO) of the Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview.

Download the .exe file and the two .rar files from the below links, and save them on your computer. Once both of the three files downloaded completely, double-click the .exe file to extract the ISO image.

    1. Download first part of Offline Installer (.EXE) – 700 MB
    2. Download second part of the Offline Installer (.RAR) – 700 MB
    3. Download third part of the Offline Installer (.RAR) – 537 MB
    4. Download the full ISO Image (.ISO) - 1.95 GB

This preview can be installed to run side by side with an existing Visual Studio 2010 installation. The preview provides an opportunity for developers to use the software and provide feedback before the final release. The .NET Framework 4.5 Developer Preview is also installed as part of Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview.

In order to develop Metro style applications, the Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview must be installed on the Windows Developer Preview with developer tools English, 64-bit. Developing Metro style applications on other Preview versions of Windows 8 is not supported.
