It happens many times (during the coding or code review process) when we need a bigger space in our favorite Visual Studio IDE to check/read the code completely. Closing all the other docked windows/panels, toolbars and then adding them one by one is really very difficult and time-consuming.

If you like to switch between “Full Screen” mode in Visual Studio 2015, go to the “View” menu and click on the “Full Screen” menu item. This will place your code in a clean dockless view. If you want to switch to the normal mode, either do the same steps or click on the “Full Screen” button placed in the view.

 

Alternatively, you can press the keyboard shortcut “Shift + Alt + Enter” to switch between the two different views. Here’s the menu entry where you can find the “Full Screen” mode:
