Microsoft today announced the new insiders program for Skype. This will allow enthusiastic community members to test it and provide feedback to shape and enhance the Skype experience. This will be currently available for Windows, iOS, Mac and Android platform.

 

If you are such a community user, you can sign-up for it. You can also request for other platforms like Xbox and Microsoft will get back to you soon.

As a Skype Insider, you can become part of the Skype journey and shape the future of the Skype experience. Microsoft is already working hard to improve the way you communicate with the people via group video call, 1-1 audio/video call or just sending of some text messages.

 

You will have early access to Skype software and services as a Skype Insider. You will be able to give early feedback on these improvements and help Microsoft to move it to the next level. Apart from that, you will be able to submit your suggestions on what you would like to see in the Skype app in the future.

 

This insider program will not be available for UWP 'Skype Preview' app. If you are using it, means you are already part of the 'Windows Insiders' program and will receive updates for that platform only.

 

To register yourself for this program, Sign-up by filling the registration form. You can install it alongside your current version of Skype. Don't forget to read the 'Skype Insider Program Terms' before applying for it.
