The new Microsoft Edge, which is powered by a popular chromium engine, was released in mid-January 2020 with a new logo. If you are using Microsoft Edge, you might have noticed that it's using Bing as the default search engine.

- Once you open Microsoft Edge, click the ellipsis (3 dots at the top-right corner) and tap Settings.
- Navigate to Privacy and services from the left navigation panel.
- Scroll down the right panel, and click on Address bar under the Services section.

- Select the dropdown against Search engine used in the address bar and choose Google or any other search engine of your choice.

That's it! Now open a new tab and perform a search. It will now use the selected search engine instead of the default Bing search.
