Windows 10 November 2021 Update (version 21H2) is aimed to improve productivity and security and has been prioritized to meet the customer requirements based on the feedback. The new features focused on productivity, management, and security include the following changes:

  • Adding WPA3 H2E standards support for enhanced Wi-Fi security
  • Windows Hello for Business introduces a new deployment method called cloud trust to support simplified passwordless deployments and achieve a deploy-to-run state within a few minutes
  • GPU compute support in the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW) deployments for machine learning and other compute-intensive workflows

 

 

How to get the Windows 10 November 2021 Update

The November 2021 Update is available initially to users with select devices running Windows 10, version 2004 or later who are interested in the latest features and are ready to install this release on their device, says Microsoft in the official announcement.

 

If you would like to install Windows 10 November 2021 Update, open your Windows 10 Update settings page (Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, WIN + I) and then select the "Check for updates" button. As this is a phased rollout, you may have to wait sometime more to get this update. Eligible devices will be offered the option to choose the Windows 11 upgrade, says Microsoft. If the update appears, you can simply select the "Download and install" link to get started.
