Download .NET Framework 4.5.2

Microsoft released .NET Framework version 4.5.2 as redistributable package. It is a compatible, in-place update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4, .NET Framework 4.5 and .NET Framework 4.5.1. This version of the .NET Framework runs side-by-side with the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and earlier versions.

Want to download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2? Here you can find both the web installer and offline installer of it.

Download Links

Here are the download links (both web installer and offline/standalone installer) for you. Try the Web Installer instead of the Offline Package for optimal efficiency and bandwidth requirements. In case, you need to install it in multiple systems, go for offline installer to save the bandwidth.

Before installing .NET Framework 4.5.2, make sure that you closed all other applications after saving all your tasks as this might reboot your system to install the required components  completely.

Here is a list of known issues declared by Microsoft:

Microsoft KB article Description
KB2909958 Exceptions in Windows PowerShell, other dynamic languages, and dynamically executed C# code when code that targets the .NET Framework calls some methods
KB2964071 SqlClient can send sequence numbers in the .NET Framework 4.5.2
KB2867723 Can’t open or create JavaScript files or C++ projects in Visual Studio 2012 after you install the .NET Framework 4.5.1 or the .NET Framework 4.5.2

Though Microsoft scanned this file for viruses using their most current virus-detection software that was available on the date the file was posted in Microsoft’s security-enhanced servers, you may want to re-run your anti-virus program before executing this file.

As I said earlier that this version of the .NET Framework runs side-by-side with the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and earlier versions, hence you will not encounter any issues running your existing applications. This is just an in-place update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4, .NET Framework 4.5 and .NET Framework 4.5.1.
