How to download the latest version of Microsoft Edge?

You can download the latest version of the chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser by navigating to the official Microsoft Edge download page. You should be running either of the following operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, macOS, iOS, or Android.

 

Please note that Microsoft to end support for Microsoft Edge on Windows 7 by mid next year (July 15, 2021).

 

How to add Google Chrome extensions on the Microsoft Edge browser?

  1. Launch the Microsoft Edge browser and navigate to the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click the link button that says Allow extensions from other stores, which you will find at the top of the page as shown below:

  4. This will open the following popup dialog. Read the warning message carefully, and then click Allow to continue.

  6. Now, search for the extension that you want to install, and navigate to the extension page.

But, before trying to add the extension from the Chrome store make sure to check availability in the Microsoft Store first.
