Redmi 9 Prime, the latest smartphone from Xiaomi, has been launched in India at an affordable price. Redmi 9 Prime will have a full HD+ (FHD+) display, an AI-based quad camera, a large battery capacity, and will be available in two variations.

Redmi 9 Prime launched in India with 6.53" (16.58cm) FHD+ IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass, high-performance Helio G80 processor (up to 2.0 GHz) for smooth and reliable gaming environment, an ultra-wide quad camera with macro lenses, 5020mAh high capacity battery that supports up to 18W fast charging mechanism. However, the phone will come bundled with a 10W charger.
The device will have a dual Nano-SIM and will run on Android 10 with MIUI 11. The company has provided up to 128GB of onboard storage, which can be expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
Redmi 9 Prime will have a quad rear camera which will include a 13MP primary image sensor, 8MP secondary image sensor, a 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera will have an ultra-wide-angle lens that has a 118-degree FoV (Field of View). An 8MP front camera sensor will be there for selfies.
Redmi 9 Prime will come in two variants. The device having 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage will come at a price of ₹9,999. Whereas, the other device with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will come at a price of ₹11,999. Both the models will come in four different colors: Space Blue, Mint Green, Matte Black, and Sunrise Flare.
As part of the Amazon Prime Day sale, the Redmi 9 Prime smartphone will be available for purchase in India starting August 6 at 10am. Post that, the phone will be available for purchase via mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home stores, and Mi Studios beginning August 17.
