What's new in Microsoft Teams: Meetings

Microsoft's real-time noise suppression feature automatically removes any unwelcome noise in the background during your meetings. The AI-based background noise suppression feature analyzes your audio feed to filter out the noise and retain the speech signal. You can also control what proportion noise suppression you would like, including a high setting to suppress more noise in the background.

 

Together mode reimagines meeting experiences to assist participants feel closer together even once you are apart. We are excited to introduce new Together mode scene selections to move your team to a spread of settings. Choose a scene to line the tone and make a singular experience for your meeting, whether it's a smaller room meeting, or an all-hands meeting held in an outside amphitheater.

 

Polls in Teams meetings may be a seamless experience powered by Forms that helps you conduct more engaging and productive meetings. As a gathering organizer or presenter, you'll prepare, launch, and evaluate polls before, during, and after meetings, respectively. Your attendees can easily view and answer the polls within the pop-up bubble or chat pane. To enable this feature because the meeting organizer or presenter, simply add the Forms app as a tab in your Teams meeting.

 

The full screen mode is now back! With full screen mode on Windows the meeting window fills up the entire screen, removing all other screen elements, including the title bar on the highest and task bar on rock bottom. On Mac OS, full screen mode maximizes the meeting window and therefore the title bar is hidden. This helps you to scale back distractions and focus your attention.
