Sleeping Tabs is a feature in Microsoft Edge, introduced in late 2020, which lets the inactive browser tabs sleep after a specified time to save system resources. This feature is based on Chrome's "freezing" technology, but way better than that. An initial report has shown a 26% reduction in memory usage of the browser.

 

Now, with Microsoft Edge 100, the company has updated sleeping tabs to enable pages that are sharing a browsing instance with another page.

Google introduces a new privacy-oriented tool for its Chrome browser that will be called as "Privacy Guide". Windows 11 - the latest version of Microsoft's operating system is being updated with a ton of new features and improvements. As announced on Tuesday at the "Hybrid Work" event, the company is set to add a tabbed design to File Explorer. Microsoft released a new servicing build to Windows 11 insiders. The latest Windows 11 Build 22581.200 comes as a KB5013296 Cumulative Update and is currently rolling out to the Windows Insiders in both the Dev Channel and Beta Channel.
