Here comes my another application for Windows Phone users, named “Place Explorer”. The app is currently available in Windows Phone Store for free. Using this app, you will be able to find out the favourite places around the city near your current location for food, drinks, shopping, accommodations etc.

A complete "Place Explorer" application for Windows Phone 8 devices where you will be able to find out your favourite places around the city near your current location for food, drinks, shopping, accommodations and many more. The application uses Nokia HERE APIs to find out the nearby spots and locates in the HERE map. You can use this app anytime while online or offline to search for specific places from a variety of categories.
To use this app offline, just downloaded the complete map of your location/country from the settings page and you are good to go with this app offline. Make sure to turn ON the "Location Service" in order to use the app.
