Since then, people started checking the PC Health Check application to know whether their system is compatible with Windows 11, the next generation of Windows.

Though many people were happy seeing their device as Windows 11 compatible, a vast majority of the users were unhappy seeing the "This PC can't run Windows 11" error message even though they are running new generation systems meeting the minimum system requirements listed by Microsoft.

PC Health Check app incorrectly reports 'This PC can't run Windows 11' error; a fix coming soon

If you are among those unlucky users who recently bought a new system and having the same configurations as listed in the Windows 11 minimum System Requirements doc, this could be due to an error in Microsoft's PC Health Check tool which incorrectly reporting it as incompatible.

Addressing this issue, Steve Dispensa (VP of Microsoft) confirmed that the Windows 11 PC Health Check app will be updated in the coming weeks with more hard and soft floor requirements starting with today.

We're going to improve the PC Health Check app over the next couple of weeks. Hopeful that the first update will be out tomorrow, added Steve Dispensa.

Windows 11 to release later this year, with a free upgrade to all supporting Windows 10 devices and continue its rollout through 2022. Windows Insiders who are in the Dev Channel will start receiving the first Windows 11 Preview build sometime next week. So, hold your breath and wait for few more days until we have a fix for the Windows 11 compatibility checker app.
