What's new and improved in Microsoft Office Version 2212 (Build 15904.20000)

The latest version of Microsoft Office (build 15904.20000) comes with a few new improvements to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Here is a list of changes published by Microsoft:

Insert in-cell images with the new IMAGE function

If you are using Microsoft Excel a lot, you will now find a new function that will allow you to insert images into cells from a source location. You can also add alternate text, four sizing options, height, and width to it using the "IMAGE" function.

These images will now be in cells as part of the worksheet instead of floating on top.

Touch Improvements to Ribbon

With the latest Office beta build, Microsoft has improved the spacing of buttons in the Ribbon of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. You will find it useful when your device is being used in Tablet posture.

Do note that the build is rolling out to the Office Insiders in the Windows Beta Channel. To get the latest version, open any of the Office applications, and then navigate to File | Account | Updates Options | Update Now.
