Other Android phones compatible with the beta 2 update include the Vivo X90 Pro, iQOO 11, Lenovo Tab Extreme, OnePlus 11, Nothing Phone (1), Tecno Camon 20 series, Realme GT 2 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi Pad 6, Oppo Find N2, and Oppo Find N2 Flip.
To download the Android 14 beta 2 version, Pixel users can head to the Android developer platform, while other Android phone users will be able to download the update from their respective company's website.
The new operating system will first be released in June this year for developers to test, with a stable version rolled out to everyone at a later date.
While Google hasn't revealed the exact launch date, it's expected to be similar to last year's Android 13 OS release, which was made available to the public in August.
One of the most noteworthy features of Android 14 is its notification flash feature, designed for people with hearing disabilities. The feature makes the smartphone flash when a notification is received.

Android 14 will also introduce support for satellite connectivity features similar to Apple's Emergency Services features with the iPhone 14 series. Another significant change is that the new version will block older Android apps from being installed when switching to a new phone.
This feature will only be available on devices that launch with Android 14, and abandoned older apps will not be shifted to new devices.
