Microsoft recently released the first build of Windows 11 (Beta) Preview to the Windows Insiders Beta Channel. This build was released to the Dev Channel last week. Microsoft confirms that no new build will be pushed to the insiders in the Dev Channel. That means at least this week both Dev and Beta channel insiders will be having the same build running.

So, what does it mean? As both Dev and Beta channel users are now having the same build, users can now switch from the Dev Channel to Beta in order to receive a more stable Windows 11 build in the future.

It's around one month that Windows 11 is running on almost all Windows Insiders systems opt in the Dev Channel. Now, Microsoft has promoted the last Dev Build (22000.100) to the Beta Channel. That means, the Windows Insiders who are in the Beta Channel can now upgrade to Windows 11 to test the flavor.

Also, those who are in the Dev Channel can now consider switching to the Beta Channel to receive more stabilized builds of Windows 11.
