Microsoft releases Visual Studio 2022 version 17.2 Preview 3. The latest preview build doesn't include any highlightable feature but adds quite a few improvements across installer, editor, C++, Git Tooling, and Test Tools. A new version of Microsoft Office is now available to the Office Insiders. The latest MS Office version 2205 comes with build number 15130.20000 and is currently rolling out under the Windows Beta Channel (formerly known as Fast Ring). Though this update doesn't bring any new features to the Office Suite, it contains several bug fixes as listed below.

As it is the second Tuesday of the month, it's time for patching all supported versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems. Being the fourth patch of the year, Microsoft now started rolling out the Windows 11 April 2022 Patch Tuesday (KB5012592) update for Windows 11 version 21H2, and Windows 10 April 2022 Patch Tuesday (KB5012599) update for versions 20H2, 21H1, 21H2.

Sleeping Tabs is a feature in Microsoft Edge, introduced in late 2020, which lets the inactive browser tabs sleep after a specified time to save system resources. This feature is based on Chrome's "freezing" technology, but way better than that. An initial report has shown a 26% reduction in memory usage of the browser.
