A patch for Windows 10 insiders rolled out, bumping the preview version to 14393.3

Microsoft has released a cumulative update (patch) for Windows 10 preview build 14393, bumping the version to 14393.3. You can install this bits only if you are a Windows Insider in the fast ring and have installed the previous 14393 update.

The patch consists of minor bug fixes, improvements to stability and performances. We are expected to see few more patches before the final release of Windows 10 Anniversary Update, this August.

Though there are no official blog post announcements from Microsoft, but the Windows 10 Insider Feedback hub has it with the key fixes available in this build.

In this context, just to let you know that, Windows 10 preview build 14393 was fast rolled out to fast ring insiders and to slow ring insiders this week. Hoping that, it will be the final build with some patches in coming days targeting the final release on August 2 as Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

For the consumers who has already upgraded to Windows 10, will get that update for free. But the others who didn’t yet upgraded, needs to upgrade before 29th July else they have to pay to get the Windows 10 OS.

Here’s the list of fixes in preview build 14393.3:

• An issue where keyboard input on some Windows tablet devices was not able to rotate to landscape normally has been fixed.
• There was an issue that resulted in Windows Updates being delayed on systems with Connected Standby. This issue has been fixed with this build.
• Fixed a problem with text input with Korean Input Method Editor (IME) in some Store apps.
• An issue causing Store apps to stop launching due to a licensing issue has been fixed.
• Another issue with apps that synchronize using DDE for inter-process communication has been fixed too.
