Microsoft drops support for Internet Explorer (IE11) from Microsoft 365 apps and services. Beginning August 17, this is what going to happen.

If you are still using Internet Explorer 11 (IE11), the Redmond giant has recently reminded its customers all over the world that the company is going to stop supporting Internet Explorer 11 from Microsoft 365 suite. That means all Microsoft 365 apps and services will cease support for Internet Explorer.
The date is not so far! Microsoft said that the farewell of IE11 will begin on August 17, 2021. Are you still using IE11? Switch to the new Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser now.

Microsoft in an announcement (published on June 23, 2021) said that Microsoft 365 apps and services will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) beginning August 17, 2021. Users may either see a degraded experience or won't be able to connect to the apps and services if they still try to access the Microsoft 365 Suite from Internet Explorer.
These apps and services will phase out over weeks and months to ensure a smooth end of support. Each app and service phasing out on independent schedules

This also means that you won't receive any support from Microsoft if you encounter any issues while accessing Microsoft 365 apps and services from IE11. Additionally, you should expect no new features over time.
