Windows 365 is Microsoft's new cloud service; available for business, enterprises

Windows 365 was first officially announced by Microsoft in July 2021, and now it is generally available to business and enterprise customers. It offers customers a new way to experience Windows 10 and Windows 11 (once it is available later this year) as a cloud service.

Windows 365 takes the operating system to the Microsoft Cloud, securely streaming the full Windows experience -- including all your apps, data, and settings -- to your personal or corporate devices, Microsoft said in a blog post.

Windows 365 provides an instant on-boot experience that will enable the users to stream all their personalized applications, tools, data, and settings from the cloud across any device including your Windows, Mac, iPad, Android, and Linux (coming soon) device. The Windows experience is consistent, no matter the device.

Windows 365 Subscription Tiers

Microsoft offers three different Windows 365 subscription tiers (Basic $31, Standard $41, and Premium $66) with a small difference for the Business and Enterprise users. The business subscriptions are restricted to 300 users, whereas the enterprise subscription can have unlimited users.

You will get 2 vCPUs, 4 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage in the Basic tier. In the Standard tier, you will get 2 vCPUs, 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage. In the Premium tier, you will get 4 vCPUs, 16 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage.
