Microsoft rolled out a new Microsoft Edge build to the insiders in the Dev Channel. The new build version 86.0.587.0, the first build from version 86.x that is currently rolling out, includes many new features and enhancements for the insiders to try out.
To know more about the new features of the Microsoft Edge (Chromium) version 86.0.587.0, you need to continue reading further. The link towards the web installer and the offline installer would be available at the end of the post.

With the Microsoft Edge version 86.0.587.0, Microsoft adds the ability to use a custom image as the new tab page background and a management policy for new Tab Pages to use a custom image as a background. They have also added a management policy for Enterprise Mode Site List Manager, which will control whether or not users can access the Enterprise Mode Site List themselves.
Microsoft added the ability to add items to Collections from InPrivate windows, support for Read Aloud on PDFs on ARM devices, dark theme to the Pinning Wizard, a button to delete certain address bar suggestions, the ability to re-order extension buttons, support for searching in the sidebar in PDFs and support for the Chromium management policy to enable SHA-1.
With all these, Microsoft also said that they have completed rolling out Picture Dictionary to all Canary and Dev users. If you don't know about this capability yet, check out my recent post to know how to enable and use the Picture Dictionary.
