Microsoft released a new update (KB5000842) for Windows 10 Version 20H2 and Windows 10 Version 2004. The build comes as an optional update and adds some new features to Windows 10. This build also includes improvements for many Windows components.

 

If you wish to update your system to this latest build, go to Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and click the Download and Install link under the Optional Updates.

A new Paint 3D app was first introduced in Windows 10 with the Creators Update. The app was used to create 3D objects from 2D sketches or images. Along with this, Microsoft also added a new "3D Objects" folder in File Explorer which was not useful for most of the users.

Recently, Microsoft released a new Windows 10 preview build to the Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The latest build 21318 from the RS_PRERELEASE branch adds a new feature to Windows 10 Clipboard. Microsoft said that the update is also been offered to ARM64 devices.

Microsoft finally releases the first preview build of Windows 10 version 21H1 (Spring 2021 Update). This comes after the official announcement of introducing the next feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1. As we informed you earlier, it is going to be a minor update and will be available through the enablement package.

 

The latest Windows 10 Preview Build 19043.844 (KB4601382) is now rolling out to the Beta Channel Windows Insiders via the "seeker" experience and includes the following new features. To grab the build navigate to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click Download and install.

Microsoft, in a blog post on the Tech Community forum, acknowledged the next version of Windows 10. In that post, the company also confirmed that Windows 10 version 21H1 won't have any new updates to the Windows Hardware Compatibility Program, and thus, no major hardware certification changes in that build.

 

Microsoft, in a note to the hardware partners, stated that Windows 10 version 21H1 will follow the same guidelines as Windows 10 version 20H2. So, all existing PCs, apps, and drivers will be compatible with the next version of Windows 10.

The latest Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21313 from the RS_PRERELEASE is now being offered to all insiders who are in the Dev Channel. But those who are using ARM64 devices, won't get this build due to an app compatibility issue.

Microsoft announced the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21301 from the RS_PRERELEASE branch. The build is now rolling out to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. With the latest Windows 10 build, Microsoft adds some refinements to the touch keyboard design and some other improvements.
