Windows 10 will now provide you more control over automatic temporary files clean up options

Storage Sense in Windows 10 runs automatically when you are low on disk space. Now, with the next major update of Windows 10, you will be allowed to control how frequently the automatic disk cleanup will run and free up the unused space that you don't need.

Microsoft is trying to improve the Windows 10 Storage Settings app to provide you an easier option to free up the storage space, by getting rid of the temporary files and contents that you don't need.

 

Along with Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build 17074, they have previewed the upcoming changes of next major build of Windows 10.


Windows 10 is going to get a configurable settings page for Quiet Hours

Along with Windows 10 Redstone 4 build, scheduled to release this spring, Microsoft is planning to improve the Quiet Hour feature by giving you an option to choose which notifications you would like to see and hear during quiet hours.

Windows 10 will allow you to control the permissions an app has requested

Along with Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build: 17063, Microsoft added support to see the permissions an application has requested. You will have total control over it to allow or disallow a specific permission for that application.

Solution: Add-in can only be connected or disconnected by an administrator

It often happens that, when you attempt to remove a COM Add-In from an Office application, it shows a message saying that 'This add-in is installed for all users on this computer and can only be connected or disconnected by an administrator.'.

 

If you face this case, it is because the said add-in was installed using admin permission. To disconnect that add-in, you need to follow the steps as mentioned in this post.
