Microsoft releases Visual Studio 2019, version 16.5, marking it the most current version of Visual Studio. In this release, the software giant added very few improvements to the IDE but includes a set of new features for XAML, .NET, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Xamarin, Debugging, Testing.

Microsoft released the official ISO image file of the Windows 10 20H1 preview build 19041. If you are a Windows Insider, you can now download the ISO file to perform clean installation of the build which was released to Fast Ring in December 2019.

 

Microsoft is expected to release the final build of Windows 10 20H1 in Spring 2020. But, before that if you want to grab this build, you need to register as Windows Insider.

Microsoft released Windows 10 insiders preview build 19546, where they have previewed new graphing capabilities in the Windows 10 calculator app. The Calculator app now includes a graphing mode, which may be generally available in the summer.

 

Apart from that, the build also includes a new Indexer Diagnostics app, which will help users to identify issues with the Windows Search indexer.

Microsoft officials said that the chromium based Microsoft Edge, which is going to be generally available from 15th January 2020, will not be bundled with Windows operating system updates. Rather, it will be available via Windows Updates for all PCs running Windows 10 1709 (RS4) and later.

 

The latest development comes over a month after the company announced the general availability of the Chromium-based Edge browser.

As made the announcement in July, Microsoft has now started rolling out the Windows 10 November 2019 Update (version 1909) globally. The update brings some new features and fixes, to make it the most secure version of Windows till now.

Microsoft announced that they are ready with the next feature update of Windows 10, i.e. the Windows 10 November 2019 Update (version 1909) from the 19H2 branch. They believe that 18363.418 will be the final build that will air next month through the release channel.

 

This build is currently available to the insiders and those who want to experience it early can join the Windows Insider program and select the "Release Preview" ring to get this update.

Microsoft is currently working to include 'Windows Hello' feature to Windows 10 in Safe Mode, so that you can unlock your device using your face, fingerprint, PIN etc. to make it a complete password-less experience. This feature is targeted to release next year with 20H1 update.
