If you are using Skype, Microsoft is now bringing in animated backgrounds for your video calls. The company recently previewed it in the latest Skype Insiders Preview Build 8.74.76.129. Not only that, with the latest preview build, Microsoft also added few more new features to it.

If you are running Microsoft Office Version 2011 - Build 13416.10000 or higher, that introduced a feature that automatically offers you short suggested responses while replying to an email in Microsoft Outlook client. This makes it easier while replying to an email that needs just a few words.

 

Though it was a useful feature, not all users want to see these suggested replies. So, with the latest Microsoft Office Version 2108 Build 14301.20004, the company added an option to turn the feature off.

Microsoft released a new cumulative update (KB5004745) build 10.0.22000.65 for Windows 11 to the Windows Insiders who are in the Dev Channel. The latest (2nd) Windows 11 Preview Build comes with many new UI changes and a bunch of bug fixes.

 

The key highlights of Windows 11 build 22000.65 are the GUI improvements to make Windows even better. It includes improvements to Search Box, Taskbar, Snap Layouts, new Power Mode settings, and more. For a complete list of changes, continue reading.

In March, we have reported about Microsoft adding Flipgrid video support to Microsoft PowerPoint slides, and during that time it was rolled out to the Office Insiders who are in the Windows Beta Channel (Fast Ring). Now, the company is rolling out this feature to the Windows Current (Preview) Channel.

 

Along with this feature, Microsoft also rolls out several other features to Microsoft Office applications. If you are an Office Insider, under Windows Current (Preview) Channel, upgrade to build 14228.20044 to experience the new features as listed below.

If you are using Windows 10 version 2004 or newer, Microsoft released an emergency update (KB5004945) to address a Windows Zero-day vulnerability. This vulnerability is called as "PrintNightmare" and is being exploited by attackers to achieve local privileges and remote code execution through the Windows Print Spooler service.

 

All users running Windows 10 version 2004 (May 2020 Update), Windows 10 version 20H2, and Windows 10 version 21H1 must update their systems with this KB5004945 update by running Windows Update from the Settings app.

If you are working in Microsoft Windows operating system, "BSOD" (Blue Screen of Death) is a very popular term. It represents an exception or a fatal system crash. There could be multiple reasons (such as a general hardware failure or a process unexpectedly terminated) behind a BSOD crash.

Along with the official announcement of Windows 11 on June 24, Microsoft released the PC Health Check app to help Windows 10 users find whether their computer is eligible to receive the next major version of Windows. This tool checks for compatibility against the minimum hardware requirements.

 

Initially, the app was causing confusion by showing a generic message. Later, Microsoft released an update but that too was not up to the mark. Now, Microsoft has removed the PC Health Check tool until further notice.

After the announcement of Windows 11 made last night, everyone is very excited to grab the latest and greatest operating system from Microsoft.
