Just like all other Fridays, Microsoft released a new Office build 14002.20000 this week. The build is now rolling out to the Office Insiders who have registered under the Windows Beta Channel (formerly known as "Fast Ring") and using the Microsoft Office version 2105.

 

Though the new build doesn't contain many new features and fixes, it is worth noting two new features for Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel which will now make your life easier.

Microsoft recently released Windows 10 Preview Build 21354 from the co_release branch to the Windows Insiders who are on the Dev Channel. The new build adds a couple of new changes, improvements, and fixes.

 

Along with the release of this build, the company also released new ISO images for the insiders who want to perform a clean installation of the operating system. Here's how you can grab the ISO image for offline installation.

Microsoft releases a new Windows 10 preview build 21354 to the Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. Though there are no major changes to stand out in this release, you will definitely like to try out the new improvements and fixes.

 

The most interesting part of this build is that the build is being rolled out from the CO_RELEASE branch. That makes it the first build from the new branch.

It's around 4 years when Microsoft first announced that the company is going to make the MS Paint app available in the Microsoft Store. It begins with deprecating this native app and introducing a new app called 'Paint 3D', which didn't attract many users.

 

As spotted by ALumia, the MS Paint is now available in the Microsoft Store. At this moment though you can't download it, it's more likely that everyone using Windows 10 can soon be able to get it.

Since last year, Microsoft is testing native notifications support for Microsoft Teams on Windows 10. The feature was available only as part of the public preview program. Now the company has started rolling out this feature to all Microsoft Teams users on Windows 10.

 

When you enable Windows 10's native notifications, Microsoft Teams notifications will be delivered through the Windows notification center. This will adhere to your device's Do-Not-Disturb (DND) settings and move to the Action Center if you miss the notifications.

Microsoft releases a new Office build to the Office Insiders in the Windows (Beta) channel. With the latest office build 13926.20000, Microsoft adds an improvement to the shared calendar feature on Office 365 using the REST API call.

 

Along with this build, Microsoft also fixed a couple of bugs in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access. If you are an Office Insider in the Beta channel, you would like to upgrade to this build. You can find the complete changelog below.

Almost a month ago, Microsoft released PowerToys v0.33.1 with some "critical new functionalities" as marked by the company. With that release, the company added first load experience, improvements to FancyZones, File Explorer and other improvements to PowerToys 0.33.1.

 

After a month, skipping version 0.34, Microsoft PowerToys version 0.35 is now available for download. It comes with some new improvements, including the new functionality to quickly swap the layouts of FancyZones, DirectShow migration for Video Conference Mute feature, and more.

Microsoft released a new update (KB5000842) for Windows 10 Version 20H2 and Windows 10 Version 2004. The build comes as an optional update and adds some new features to Windows 10. This build also includes improvements for many Windows components.

If you are using Office Insiders Beta build (version 2104), you might have noticed Outlook crashing while syncing folder hierarchy changes. With this new build 13919.20002, Microsoft resolved this issue. You can find the complete changelog below.

As the security agencies have seen an increase in attacks against on-premise Microsoft Exchange servers, recently Microsoft released a one-click mitigation tool to help the customers of both current and out-of-support versions of on-premise Exchange Servers who are unfamiliar with the patch/update process.

 

Now the company has taken an additional step to further support the customers who are still vulnerable and have not yet implemented the complete security updates.
