Microsoft starts rolling out a new Windows 10 patch (KB4023057) to make your device compatible to receive the latest upgrade. The latest build adds reliability and security improvements to Windows Update Service components in consumer Windows 10, versions 1507, 1511, 1607, 1703, 1709, 1803, 1809, 1903, 1909, and 2004.

Microsoft announced that they are backporting the Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL2) distros to Windows 10 version 1903, and Windows 10 version 1909. Redmond based software giant said that it took over the last few months to bring it to Windows 10 version 1903 and 1909.

Microsoft announced the rollout of the new Tasks app for Microsoft Teams, which provides a new unified view of both personal and team tasks within the app by consolidating tasks across Microsoft To-Do, Teams, Planner, and Outlook.

Git 2.28 has been released with new features, enhancements and bug fixes. The new feature includes the option to set the default branch name to the global configuration file for the repositories that are being created by the user.
